CIPP Laboratory Services

In 2015, we built our Cured-in-place Pipe (CIPP) Testing Lab, and in May 2015, we prepared, conditioned, and tested our first commercial CIPP sample.

As our clientele grew, so did our lab. As a result, we can simultaneously condition up to 150 samples in our conditioning chambers at one time and continually evaluate every step of the process from sample receiving, cutting, curing, testing, and reporting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

We pride ourselves on accurate results and consistent turnaround times. Our national accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) best displays our dedication to this work.

As one of just a handful of CIPP mechanical testing labs in the nation and the only one to achieve A2LA accreditation for all of the ASTM & ISO test methods below, Mi-Tech truly stands above the crowd.

Our in-house laboratory offers CIPP services for installers throughout the United States. Experienced engineers and technicians use industry-standard techniques strictly adhering to ASTM and ISO testing standards.

We pride ourselves on accurate results and consistent turnaround times. We are A2LA-accredited for many tests and can test poly mat/resin, fiberglass-reinforced, and UV-cured fiberglass-reinforced matrix samples.

Mi-Tech is proud to have earned accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).

Mi-Tech’s registered Professional Engineers provide stamped/signed liner thickness designs using ASTM F1216, F2019, and the ASCE MOP –145 methods.  While ASTM F1216 & F2019 are limited to circular pipes having less than 10% ovality, the ASCE MOP-145 software (CLINT) will compute for many shapes and greater ovalities.
